Windows 8.1 is expected to bring several major improvements to Windows 8, including a highly-anticipated Start button, but it seems that Microsoft is also working on introducing a completely new search experience.

A screenshot posted on Twitter by user AngelWZR reveals that Windows 8.1 build 9369 packs some new options that would basically allow users to search the web using the newly released Charms.

As you can see, Microsoft would allow users to filter those results with the help of a “SafeSearch” tool providing three different modes, namely strict, moderate, and off.

While it’s not yet clear whether the company will also make Google one of the available search engines in Windows 8.1, Bing has all the chances in the world to be the default choice for all users. Suggestions are also very likely to be provided, but this would probably depend on the search engine you configure.
