Last week, it has emerged that Windows 8.1 would feature a brand new option called Reading List that would allow users to save links and content for later access.

More like a “Read It Later” tool, the new feature has been presented at TechEd, so the editors over at Win8China had the chance to catch it on camera.

As you can see, Reading List is part of the Share Charm and comes with its own interface that adopts the same Metro design cues as all the other apps available in the Store.

Of course, the app would be specifically optimized for the touch and is mostly aimed at consumers who buy tablets.

More information on the Reading List features and on the other improvements to be made available in Windows 8.1 will be provided on June 26 when the operating system is set to be released in preview form.
