Budget Windows 8 computers sold out on Black Friday

Windows 8 is apparently missing internal sales projections, with the lack of devices running the new Microsoft software considered one of the main reasons for this slow debut.

And although Black Friday wasn’t so impressive for Microsoft in terms of sales, GeekWire has found out that all budget PCs and laptops running Windows 8 got sold at Walmart just before the weekend.

While this is clearly good news for Microsoft, as it hopes the PC industry recovery to bring better sales for Windows 8 too, we can’t tell for sure if the same impressive sales have been recorded in other stores as well.

Microsoft is obviously yet to disclose some official numbers concerning Windows 8’s sales, but the new operating system is slowly and surely increasing its market share every month.
