Windows 8 has just appeared on the British version of Amazon in three different versions, confirming the box arts we told you about some time ago.

Sadly, no pricing has been revealed, but Microsoft has already confirmed that previous Windows users would be allowed to make the move from XP, Vista or 7 to Windows 8 Pro for only $39.99 / €31 via an online upgrade.

Basically, Amazon UK lets you purchase “Windows 8 Standard Edition to Windows 8 Pro Edition”, which is just an upgrade so you only receive a product key card, “Windows 8 Pro”, again an upgrade for XP, Vista and 7 users, and “Windows 8 Pro N version,” a third upgrade for XP, Vista and 7 users who’d like to get Windows 8 without Media Player.

More information on Windows 8’s pricing however will be revealed soon, as we get closer to the official debut on October 25.
