Windows 8 Manager has received a brand new update this morning that brings several new options specifically designed for Windows 8.1 workstations.

Version 1.1.7 includes multiple tweaks for Windows 8 and updates the IE Manager tool to build number 2.0, thus getting support for Internet Explorer 11.

In addition, most of the built-in features have been improved too, including the Windows Store App Settings (now at version 1.7) and the Windows Utilities section, which reached build 1.6.

Starting with this version, Windows 8 Manager works not only on Windows 8, but also on the soon-to-be-launched Windows 8.1 (the public debut is scheduled to take place on October 18). Both 32- and 64-bit versions of the two operating systems are supposed to be fully compatible with the new version of the app.
