Windows Blue will focus a lot more on the Modern user interface, with some people even claiming that it’s another step towards a complete retirement of the desktop environment, so it’s no wonder that Microsoft has introduced several new options in this regard.

Blue will pack a dedicated feature that would allow the operating system to automatically update the installed Metro apps, according to a screenshot posted on Twitter by Windows4Live.

While in Windows 8 users are required to manually deploy the new versions, Blue adopters will be allowed to do the same thing, but only if they disable the aforementioned option.

Keep in mind that we’re talking about an early build of Windows Blue here, so some of the features available right now might not make it into the stable build of the operating system.
