The new revision for Windows Firewall Control is 4.0.3.0 and it brings to the table a couple of modifications designed to improve the overall functionality of the application.

The developer added a new check box to the lock dialog, which allows you to view the password first. Also new is the fact that notifications are no longer enabled when the program is in lock mode.

Furthermore, all other actions in the notification dialog are disabled until Windows Firewall Control is re-activated.

The application shows a lock icon to the user informing of the current state to allow undoing the state.

The third modification for the current revision refers to updating the WhoIs server to who.is because it provides better results in the case of IPv6 addresses, while the old server (networktools.nl) could resolve correctly only IPv4 addresses.
