Binisoft released a new build for Windows Firewall Control. The new revision is 3.9.1.4 and it brings to the table the possibility to select IGMP (Internet Group Management), IPv6 and GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) protocols along with a couple of repairs.

Support for selecting the new protocols is available in the configuration panel when a new rule is created.

The application now allows you to restore the system recommended rules without having to reinstall it. This option can be found under the “Policy” tab.

As for repairs, the developer solved the problem with deselecting and the re-enabling the "Disable the ability of other..." feature, which tampered with rules created from WFwAS.

Another fix refers to the layout of Location items in the “Properties” panel of a rule; this has been modified so that it fits the long translation strings that may occur in the case of some languages.
