The latest roll-out for Windows Firewall Control application from Binisoft is a minor one and does not show too many modifications. However, the reason for the skimpy list of changes is that it was preceded by another update, a day before its release.

Version 3.8.2.1 of the application was launched yesterday and fixes a problem that caused its sudden termination when attempting a search for executable files. The second change refers to improving the readability of the translated strings from the language files.

In the previous release, the developer dealt with a slightly larger number of fixes touching on the notification display mechanism, which showed messages with a delay as much as 20 seconds, due to checking the digital signature.

Another repair referred to failure to switch a rule from inbound to outbound from the properties panel of an entry. The full list of changes is available here.
