As you’ve probably heard by now, Microsoft has redesigned several built-in Metro apps for Windows 8.1, thus trying to help users make the most of the new touch-optimized Modern UI.

Now that the debut of Windows 8.1 RTM is just around the corner, the Softies have started improving them once again, just to make sure that adopters are provided with a bug-free experience.

A new version that got released today brings a slightly redesigned UI, but also an improved live tile, which means that you can get information on the videos included in your library straight from the Start screen.

The app also features additional minor fixes, so a slight performance improvement should be noticed after deploying the newly-launched update.
