14 DAY TRIAL // The official Yahoo Finance app for Microsoft’s new Window 8 operating system has received a new update today on all versions of the OS, including desktop and tablets builds.
The release notes point to a few bug fixes, so the app should load a bit faster and be more responsive on any device running this particular operating system.
“The Yahoo! Finance app brings to you a combination of market and stock information, financial news hot off the press and access to your investment portfolios in an aesthetically pleasing package,” the app description reads.
The feature list isn’t quite overwhelming, but it includes dedicated options to access watchlists and portfolios, as well as interactive charters and latest news across various categories such as US markets and company finances.
