A new version of the official Yahoo Mail client for Windows 8 is now up for grabs in the Windows Store, bringing adopters of Microsoft’s new operating system not only bug fixes, but also several new features.

The new release comes with folder management support, so users are allowed to add, edit, rename and delete folders quickly from the Modern UI. In addition, it features integration with Yahoo Address Book, which means that you can select, search and browse contacts from the main screen.

Yahoo Mail for Windows 8 now comes in new languages too, including Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, German, Greek, Traditional Chinese, British English, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesian and Swedish, but also with the ability to invoke search from within the app.

Of course, it continues to be available on all Windows 8 builds, including x86, x64 and ARM versions.
