Yahoo has just released a new version of its official email client for Windows 8, making the build available for all platforms of Microsoft's new operating system.

While the new version is expected to bring several bug fixes and maybe some new features, the release notes only mention the changes introduced in the previous build of the app rolled out in mid-February.

As far as we can tell, Yahoo Mail indeed seems to be a bit faster after deploying the latest version, but we can't notice any major feature enhancements or new options.

Of course, the app continues to work flawlessly on all Windows 8 builds out there, including the x86, the x64 and the ARM flavors.

Just as we told you in our detailed review, Yahoo Mail works like a charm on Windows RT tablets, as it features an eye-candy interface and touch-optimized features specifically created to make the most of Windows 8's touch capabilities.
