A new version of Adobe’s software is now up for grabs

Adobe has just released a new version of Flash Player, and everyone is recommended to download and install it as soon as possible because it’s expected to fix critical security flaws in the software.

A detailed change log is not available right now because Adobe updated its servers with the new version of Flash Player only a few minutes ago, but given the fact that today we’re celebrating Patch Tuesday and security fixes are the hottest topic of the day, it’s only natural to expect such improvements.

Adobe has married its security release cycle to Microsoft’s, so both companies now roll out patches and fixes for their software on the second Tuesday of each month. And given the fact that Flash Player is directly integrated into a number of third-party apps, such as Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, companies need to manually update their programs with the new version at the same time.

Flash Player is one of the most vulnerable software solutions currently available, with researches showing that Adobe’s product accounts for 8 of the top 10 vulnerabilities used in exploit kits across the globe.

This is clearly worrying for everyone still using the app, so if you’re part of this category, download Adobe Flash Player right now to make sure you’re up to date, and no unpatched vulnerabilities exist on your PC. Release notes should be available soon, so we’ll update the article when they’re ready.
