Just one Windows phone now available at AT&T

Rumor has it that Microsoft is considering a potential demise of the Lumia brand, and phones that are included in this series were removed and re-published on the company’s store page several times until now, making us believe that not even the firm itself knows what’s best for Windows Phone.

And all this uncertainty is now being fueled by AT&T, which also removed most of the Windows phones from its website and kept just a single device that’s not even new.

It’s being reported that AT&T pulled the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 640 XL from its store page, keeping instead just a single Lumia 950 version that’s listed as out of stock. The only device that you can purchase right now is a refurbished Lumia 640 XL available for $84.99.

On the other hand, several Lumia phones are in stock now at the Microsoft Store, so at this point, it’s really hard to figure out what exactly is going to happen with Redmond’s phone lineup.

The software giant remains completely tight-lipped on anything regarding its phones and although there is hope that the Surface Phone could launch later this year, there’s still no confirmation that such a project exists. If the Surface Phone is real, it should go live in the fall of 2017, possible with Windows 10 ARM (the full version of Windows 10 on an ARM chip).
