14 DAY TRIAL // avast! 7 moved very fast from beta to RC development stage and this rapid progress is due to the fact that the company plans to launch the stable version sooner than you might expect. They will also present the new features at the upcoming RSA conference in San Francisco next week.
The current release candidate, 7.0.1403, allows you to connect with your Avast! account, which features the basic functionality, although the portal will be finalized in the next few days.
Also, some components need further attention, such as Auto-Sandbox malware analysis which is not fully functional at the moment. It will be turned on through the VPS.
Although the developer is pretty close to launching a stable release for avast! 7, users still complain about malfunctions in the suite, such as running Opera sandboxed or the script shield not working with Firefox in some cases.
