The first beta for foobar2000 1.1.17 has been released today, bringing nothing new in the application; only repairs and improvements are available.

In the fresh revision, the converter should work with non-seekable sources, such as online streams and rare “full file buffering” crash bug has been dealt with. Also repaired is the problem with the oscilloscope inversion.

Additional improvements in the application touch on the handling of the media library relative path in portable installations of the application and crash reporting, which should offer the developer more significant information about deadlocks.

Furthermore, you can use Ctrl+A keyboard shortcut in generic text popup dialogs and zlib compression library has been updated to version 1.2.7.

foobar2000 is available for download from this link; during installation you can choose it to be portable.
