14 DAY TRIAL // Windows XP support came to an end in April 2014, but some 10 percent of the PCs across the world are still running it, which is living proof that a number of users aren't yet ready to upgrade to a newer release, be it Windows 7, 8, or 10.
But if you're still on Windows XP and like the UI of Windows 10, there's now a free theme that more or less makes your computer look like it's running the new operating system, bringing some of the modern elements Microsoft uses on the old desktop and Windows Explorer.
As you can see in the screenshot here, this theme indeed overhauls the look of Windows XP, but it's obvious that it can't make everything look exactly the same as in Windows 10.
It does bring new check boxes, window borders, menu colors, menu highlighting options, and taskbar buttons, but otherwise, you have to stick with a more simpler design that works on Windows XP.
Obviously, the best way to enjoy what Windows 10 has to offer is to actually get it, but for Windows XP, that's pretty difficult because the new OS cannot run without significant hardware upgrades on an old computer. What's more, the free Windows 10 upgrade is only valid for Windows 7 and 8.1 users, so those still on XP need to buy the new OS.
