The Surface Book is certainly the most exciting product announced by Microsoft at its October 6 event in New York, and since everyone's so impressed with it, the company's trying to make the most of this moment by capitalizing on the enthusiasm with new ads supposed to convince potential buyers to at least give it a try.

This is the case of this new ad released by the software giant today which does nothing more than to show the capabilities of the new laptop/digital clipboard, showing everyone how Microsoft is once again inventing a new category with its Surface lineup.

The Surface Book is not only a laptop but also a digital clipboard because you can easily detach the keyboard and use it with the Surface Pen to take notes, draw or write naturally.

When used as a laptop, it's really powerful because it includes hardware such as Intel i5 and i7 processors, up to 16 GB of RAM and a maximum of 1 TB of storage space. Obviously, the device is already very expensive, with the top model featuring all of the above selling for $3,200.

The device is already up for pre-order if you want to get one right now, but shipments are projected to start later this month for those living in the United States. Retailers across the world should also start selling the Surface Book in the following months.
