Microsoft has recently released a new cumulative update for smartphones running Windows 10 Mobile, most likely in an attempt to improve performance and fix the most common bugs.

Although the company hasn’t announced the update, it seems to be pushing version number to Windows 10 Mobile build 14393.189. It is available right now via Settings > Phone Update > Check for updates.

According to Microsoft, this cumulative update brings the same changes as a previous release that bumped version number of Windows 10 Mobile to 14393.187 and was available for insiders enrolled in the Slow and the Release Preview rings.

There are only small changes in there, so there’s nothing to be excited about, but given the fact that it includes several fixes, it’s still worth installing. The update addresses an issue that sometimes blocks alarm notifications in Windows 10 Mobile and improves support for camera app in Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise.

Additionally, the very same update comes to correct an issue causing some apps to not respond to the commands in the app bar in the operating system.

The update is thus promoted from the Insider program to retail users and everyone should install it as soon as possible. As far as new builds are concerned, Microsoft has just released a new one for those who want to be part of the Redstone 2 effort, so the next version should launch in a week at the earliest.
