14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has rolled out Windows 10 Mobile for Windows Phone devices, so now everyone can upgrade their handsets to the new operating system and enjoy the improvements that the software giant has been working on for more than 12 months.
But what’s very important to note is that the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade is not automatically pushed to devices running Windows Phone, and you need to follow a few steps in order to get it.
While you can find the full instructions to upgrade Windows Phone to Windows 10 Mobile here, Microsoft has also provided a detailed video to provide users with more assistance on how to do this, just to make sure that everyone benefits from the new operating system (if the upgrade is indeed available, as Microsoft has clearly stated that the rollout takes place in stages and only some models are seeing it at first).
As we’ve said, the Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor app takes care of everything, so make sure you install it before everything else. This app scans your device to determine if it’s eligible for the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade, and if it is, it enables the process in the phone update section of the handset.
