New version released today, no info on what’s new

Upgrade Advisor is pretty much the phone sibling of the “Get Windows 10” app launched by Microsoft for PCs running an older version of Windows, and is supposed to help customers determine if their phones can be upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile.

The application has just received a new update, but just like NPU notes, it comes without a change log, so it’s probably safe to assume that bug fixes and performance improvements are included.

And yet, it goes without saying that this is quite an important update given the fact that it’s supposed to make the transition from Windows Phone to Windows 10 Mobile smoother, so every single bug fix and performance optimization is more than welcome.

On the other hand, it’s important to note that although it has been updated with new bug fixes, no new models are being added to the list of supported devices for Windows 10 Mobile. Microsoft decided to release the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade only to devices that are capable of offering the full experience on the new OS, so several Windows Phone handsets are left behind.

The update is being delivered through the store, and if you haven’t yet upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile but plan to do it sometime in the future, you should really get this new version as soon as possible.
