A new app update is available for Windows 10 users

Microsoft keeps updating apps that are shipped with Windows 10, so today another new version showed up in the store for those who installed the new operating system.

The Windows Camera app, which basically allows users to take photos with their Windows 10 devices, received a new update today, but once again, Microsoft forgot to provide users with a change log and reveal what's new in this version.

The app makes more sense on tablets and laptops than on PCs, but it's pre-installed in Windows 10 anyway, so if you were looking for an easy way to take a selfie, you don't need any other app to control your camera.

Version 5.49.3001 most likely brings improvements in terms of performance and stability, as well as bug fixes, so make sure you install this one especially if you've previously experienced problems with the application.

If you haven't changed the default Windows 10 store configuration, the app update might already be there on your PC, as Microsoft set it up to automatically install new app versions when they are released.

Needless to say, Microsoft too recommends users to install these new versions whenever they are shipped in order to fix bugs and other issues as fast as possible, so go ahead and download the Windows Camera app to see what it brings new.
