Small tweaks rolled out for Windows insiders

Microsoft might not be the biggest supporter of Windows 10 Mobile these days, but the company still rolls out some updates every once in a while, though most improvements are often very difficult to notice even by hardcore users.

The past weekend, for example, Microsoft updated the Windows Store on Windows 10 Mobile devices enrolled in the Windows Insider program with some tweaks specifically aimed at game listings.

As MSPU is reporting, the Windows Store is now displaying new cover images for games in the Windows Store, alongside existing options to get the game, launch the game hub, or share the link with your friends.

What’s important to know, however, is that this makeover is only available for those running the latest Windows 10 Mobile builds, and there’s a good chance that only Windows 10 Creators Update devices will be getting it.

This means that only 13 phones are actually going to see the new Windows Store, as for some reason, Microsoft is once again leaving plenty of phones behind with the new OS update.

Windows 10 Creators Update is projected to launch tomorrow, and this is the moment when the new Store could also become generally available, though it’s important to note that the OS release takes place gradually and availability depends on a series factors, including region and carrier, so it could take weeks or even months until you get the update.
