Nokia Lumia 930 has a stunning camera that can really help shoot awesome photos and videos (OK, maybe not as stunning as some other phones, but still good enough for the average Joe), so it’s no surprise that Microsoft brings the capabilities of the device in the spotlight every once in a while.

Today, Redmond has published a video created by National Geographic and recorded in 4K with a Lumia 930, once again proving that the 20-megapixel camera makes the phone the right tool when looking for high-quality videos and extreme portability.

“National Geographic photographer Stephen Alvarez uses his Microsoft Lumia 640 XL to capture a landscape and culture shaped by explosive geological forces on a journey through Mexico's Ring of Fire to Paricutin volcano - one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Shot with Lumia 930 in 4k,” Microsoft explains in the description of today’s video.

The only problem with the Lumia 930, which Microsoft doesn’t talk about in this video, is the somehow poor battery life, especially when recording in 4K. A full battery can drop to 0 percent in less than an hour during video recording, so an additional power source is a must-have if you really want to create such stunning footage of a volcano.

The 930 comes with a 2420 mAh battery and remains Microsoft’s 5-inch flagship, at least until later this year, when a revised model is set to arrive.
