BitTorrent rolled out a new update for the stable version of uTorrent. The new build number is 29625 and the list of changes it integrates is quite short, as the change log is composed of only three entries, but announces fixes for some important stability and functionality issues.

The developer addressed a problem that affected BitTorrent Plus users, who experienced crashes of the client when playing media files.

Another problem occurred during the installation procedure, when the installer would crash.

The third issue solved in this release refers to hash failures that happened when writing on slow storage media at a faster pace.

The stable version of uTorrent 3.3 was released with hefty performance improvements, particularly when multi-tasking, resulting from a re-written disk I/O system.

These are noticeable especially when downloading torrents to two drives, but the operation is carried out with the speed of downloading to a single drive.
