UC Browser is one of the most popular browsers on mobile platforms, but as far as the desktop is concerned, it still has a hard time to compete against the big guys, such as Firefox and Google Chrome. Not to mention that UC Browser is still in its early days on Windows, so every single update is fairly important for the overall success of the app.

Today, the developing team behind the project released a new version of UC Browser for Windows users that brings a bunch of improvements supposed to address some of the bugs found in the previous releases, as well as some new small tweaks for display languages.

For example, the multi-language support of UC Browser for Windows is improved in version 5.1.1369.1226 with Indonesian (so the whole browser is now available in this language), but also with custom language spell checking, which can be configured in Settings > Others > Languages.

The browser should also load faster thanks to the update it received today, so computers running modern Windows versions should notice a significant increase.

Needless to say, it still isn’t an option that’s as powerful as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, but it’s definitely worth a try, so just download UC Browser for Windows to see if it’s good or not.
