New build silently released on Microsoft’s servers

Microsoft announced lots of improvements for Windows 10 today at Build, including an official name for the Redstone 3 update, and it looks like the company has prepared something more for users.

The software giant has silently released Windows 10 build 16193, which is basically the first major build of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update coming for insiders.

At this point, the build is not available via Windows Update for insiders, but only as an ISO file that is located on Microsoft servers. There’s as good chance the company will post it on Windows Update later today after the opening keynote of day 2 at Build comes to an end.

You can download Windows 10 build 16193 using this link, but keep in mind that this is just an ISO and you need to manually perform a clean install to try it out. Otherwise, you can wait for the Windows Update release to get it as an automatic install.

At this point, it's still too early to tell what the new features coming in this build are because we're still downloading the ISO and Microsoft's servers seem to be painfully slow at this point, probably because everyone's getting the new build.

Expect an official announcement for this build to be provided at the end of the opening keynote, along with information about the new features and improvements available for users.

UPDATE: Microsoft has just released this build for insiders via Windows Update so you no longer have to get the ISO unless you really want a clean install.
