What about a modern-looking install experience?

Microsoft has indeed overhauled Windows 10 Mobile to look more similar to the PC version of the new operating system, but there still are some parts that are yet to receive a makeover and still have the same design as in Windows Phone.

The setup experience, for example, is just the same as before, and when you upgrade to a new build, you are provided with the same screen and rotating gears, although Microsoft has already implemented a new screen in the PC version of Windows 10.

DeviantArt user EPaluan has created his own concept imagining a revamped setup UI for Windows 10 Mobile, bringing on phones too animations and elements that are currently available on PCs.

And to be honest, such a redesign certainly makes sense, especially because Microsoft wants to bring together the mobile and PC versions of Windows 10 and provide seamless transition from one device to another.

Fortunately, there’s still time for such improvements in Windows 10 Mobile, as the new operating system is not here yet, and Microsoft could still tweak some parts of it before the public launch. According to previous reports, Windows 10 Mobile should see daylight sometime in February, but Microsoft hasn’t yet confirmed the schedule.

Time will tell if more changes will be implemented in the setup experience on Windows 10 Mobile, but clearly, these would make a lot of sense, given Microsoft’s efforts to offer a similar UI and feature lineup across all devices.
