More small refinements prepared for the upcoming builds

As we’ve told you earlier today, Microsoft is expected to launch new Windows 10 builds in the coming days, and it appears that one of the changes that could be part of these releases is a new loading circle on mobile devices.

Little is known at this point, but @gus33000 has tweeted a GIF showing the new loading circle animation in action earlier today while also revealing that Microsoft is planning further updates to the store. As NPU notes, the “updated” Windows Store will reposition the status bar below the app’s name while the top categories on the home screen now come with a hovering effect that turns to the system accent color.

These changes are very likely to make their way to PCs as well, but it’s not yet clear when Microsoft wants to release them. For what it’s worth, the company could change its mind any minute now and never make them public, but insiders are expected to at least get a chance to try them out.

Microsoft has implemented several updates to the Windows Store in the last few months, and the company is very likely to continue refining the experience.

The Anniversary Update is due in the summer, most likely in July, and this is the moment when everyone should see these changes if they get the green light from insiders.
