Magic Office Recovery

Magic Office Recovery is an intuitive program, dedicated to recovering damaged, corrupted or deleted documents from local or remote disks. The software is optimized for retrieving several types of documents, such as those created with Microsoft Office, OpenOffice and PDFs. The file recovery is preceded by a thorough disk scan.

Magic Office Recovery is especially created to detect and restore files created with Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, as well as PDFs. The supported file types include .DOC/.DOCX, .XLS/.XLSX, Office templates, CSV, OpenOffice presentations, spreadsheets and documents.

Moreover, the software can detect PDFs and other documents such as .PDB, .RTF, .WPD, .WRI, .TXT. You need to select the disk you wish the software to scan, from the list displayed in the main window. The application can automatically detect the available disks, regardless of the system type: FAT or NTFS.

The application can find lost partitions or create a virtual disk prior to performing the data recovery.

Magic Office Recovery features several algorithms that allows it to scan the disk and detect files’ signatures patterns. The content-aware scanning process results in a high rate of file recovery, regardless of the cause of their damage.

The application allows you to perform a fast scan or a full analysis, in order to restore recently deleted files, respectively retrieve all relevant pieces of information for recovering a file system.

Before you start the scanning, you can create file filters, which can help speed up the process: file size, date of creation/modification/access and extension.

When the drive scan is finished, Magic Office Recovery displays all the recovered files, along with the folder structure and allows you to preview them. It is recommended that you select a different drive for saving the recovered data than the one you scanned, but you can choose any location. Moreover, you can burn the data to a disc, create an ISO virtual image or upload to FTP straight from the application.
