LITIO - 3D Sheet metal unfolder

LITIO - 3D  Sheet metal unfolder is an add-on for AutoCAD that can help users calculate and draw the sheet development of various components. It is in fact an add-on for sheet metal calculations that determines the flat (unfolded) sheet developments for components such as connections, cones, pipe intersections, elbows, bifurcations, ducts, rectangle to round transitions and so on.

As it's an add-on that has been programmed to work with AutoCAD, it goes without saying that in order to run it on your computer, you need to provide it with the host application beforehand.

When you use it, you have to select the 3D surface that has to be unfolded. It is possible that you can select the inside, outside or mid cross sectional dimensions and the height values. Next steps are deciding whether to draw the 3D surface or not and its unfolded sheet as a mesh (for bending the sheet in an easier manner) or a 2D contour if you want, which can help you simplify the cutting process. The development calculation precision can also be set.

LITIO - 3D  Sheet metal unfolder supports Metric and Imperial units alike, depending on what units you've chosen for the current project. After the parameter input step is over, the program generates the 3D object.
