You can scan the network to discover your Windows IP configuration (host name, primary DNS suffix, node type, IP routing and WINS proxy enabled), Ethernet adapter local area connection (e.g. description, physical address, DHCP and auto-configuration enabled, IPv4 address, subnet mask, lease obtained), tunnel adapter (e.g. media state, connection-specific DNS suffix, description, physical address, DHCP and auto-configuration enabled), and other such data.

When it comes to IP utilities, it's possible to release and renew IP addresses, as well as to ping any IP address or website in just a few steps. These actions are performed by the program, so user intervention is minimal. Worth mentioning is that network information can be printed or saved to plain text documents for closer inspection.

It scanned the network swiftly in our tests while remaining light on system resources consumption, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly.

On the other hand, some of its components depend on the developer's website, which is no longer live, making them non-functional. MyIP Basic hasn't received updates for a long time.
