Kodak EasyShare Software is an application that helps you handle your huge collection of photos easier than any time before and although it has been specifically designed to help you in this regard, it can do a lot more.

The application takes a lot of time to install and your computer will be seriously stressed up during the process, so it’s better to close the other programs before launching the setup kit.

Once installation comes to an end, you’ll have to follow a wizard that will help you import the photos and manage them through a simple and clean interface. We’ve seen a similar look at programs in the same software category, so nothing too complicated here.

Double clicking a photo opens it, but also opens a bunch of new editing functions that can be applied over the image. For instance, it lets you change colors, apply effects or crop it with a single click.

Since we’re living in the file sharing era, Kodak EasyShare Software also allows its users to share the images on popular online service such as Facebook and YouTube.

And speaking of YouTube, here’s one thing that we didn’t like. During our test, we’ve learned that Kodak EasyShare Software also works with video files, but in order to do so, you’ll have to install QuickTime. The application doesn’t support another video player, so you have to download this one to unlock its full powers.

All in all, Kodak EasyShare Software is a decent solution when talking about photo managers. But there’s still a lot of work to do if developers dream about more users, not to mention that a fast and easy way to install and use the app is mandatory.
