If one or more areas are excluded from the scan, the appearance of the Virus Utilities symbol in the taskbar will change to indicate this. You will also see an yellow symbol and the message "Your system is partly safe configured." appears. Virus Utilities is then no longer able to provide you full protection.
If the Symbol turns to red your system protection is turned off and the status message is "Attention! Yous system is not safe configured."
Scan - The virus check from virus.utilities
You can configure the scan to be performed automatically or start the scan manually in Virus Utilities. You can manage and add as many scans as required.
Preset scans:
· Fast system scan
Here, the Windows installation directory is scanned. Most malicious programs such as viruses and Trojan horses are located in this directory, and can be quickly and readily detected.
· System partition
With this option, Virus Utilities scans the drive where your operating system is installed. All archives, directories, folders and files on this drive are scanned by Virus Utilities.
· Whole computer
virus.utilities scans all drives on your computer.
· Removable media
All external drives such as USB sticks and CD ROM drives are scanned.
