Being a middle product of the suite, K7AntiVirus Premium is a good investment for home users, but is not aimed at large businesses seeing how it lacks a few essential modules that companies need in order to receive maximum protection.

K7AntiVirus Premium sports a professional and intuitive design, following the line of all K7 security products. The main window provides a quick overview of the overall security status, while a more detailed report about all the modules in the suite is provided in the next screen.

From here, you may change the status of antivirus, antispyware and firewall components, although you’ll be going through a series of confirmations to achieve that.

A summary of its most outstanding features includes real-time scanning, email and browser protection, behavior monitoring, exploit security, an active system monitor, as well as the firewall component which consists of application control, rule filtering and intrusion detection.

There are multiple type of scans provided in the suite: the complete one, which performs an in-depth analysis of the system, the quick one that processes critical areas, a rootkit module that scans for hidden files and a custom one that enables you to select the drives / folders to be scanned.
