In the world of antivirus software, only the strongest prevail. This is usually the case for products released by Symantec.
Norton 360 is considered to be a computer security suite that has everything required to protect your system.
This compact package includes an antivirus, firewall, anti-malware, and backup system... all the necessary ingredients needed to create a security cocktail!
Once you initiate the application, you will come across a colorful user interface, and a few buttons.
Here you can see the status of PC security, identity, backup, and PC tuneup. Naturally, it is ideal for all of these to be protected.
In PC security you can run scans, update, manage firewall, or run Norton Insight.
Scanning options include scanning your computer (quick, full, custom), the programs' trust level, or the Facebook Wall (to make sure the links on your Facebook Wall are no threats - yeah, you heard that one right!).
"Identity" lets you manage the protection of your identity, as well as configure it (by setting a password).
With "Backup" you can manage backup sets, run backup, or restore files. Everything can be either done right away or scheduled.
The "PC Tuneup" section is where you can run disk optimization, file cleanup, diagnostic report, or startup manager.
All these features and more are included in Norton 360 - a suitable name for something that analyzes the whole aspects of computer security.
Norton 360 uses a normal amount of CPU resources, so don't expect it to fly while you're busy playing a high-demanding game.
