    You just have to enter your text in the built-in word processor and hit the "Compile" button to obtain a fully functional help file which looks exactly as you designed it.

    Limitations:

    · The freeware version inserts a little text at the bottom of each page
    · The freeware version of HelpNDoc has no limitation on features compared to the purchased version. The only differentiation between the two version is a small text added at the bottom of each page by the freeware version. In addition to that, the HelpNDoc license doesn't permit the use of the freeware version for any profit and/or commercial purposes. You can find more information about the restrictions by reading the license. Finally, no support will be given for the freeware version of HelpNDoc. E-mail support is available for registered users as long as they are entitled to upgrades.

    · HTML Table of content can now optionaly be collapsed when generated
    · Advanced PDF output options: document encryption, compression and fine layout tuning

    · HTML search engine did not provide search results for numeric characters
    · HTML keywords would not always correctly show up with quoted topic titles
    · Incorrect character escaping in HTML table of content
    · Topic ID field didn't allow the underscore character
