chmScribe HTA uses pre-built templates to rapidly document Components, Classes & Libraries then compiles HTML Help files with Contents, Index and Search.

The application has been built to demonstrate the uses of Encore Softwares HTC Components. Many prepopulated templates are included.

The page categories include: reference, Objects, Properties, Methods, Events, Elements, Steps and Topics. Contents and Indexes are automatically created.

The final CHM file has a predifined Tree Structure that cuts a lot of the tedious work out of authoring. Once the reference is compiled, *.hhp, *.hhk and *.hhc files are saved to disk and are editable via Microsoft HTML Help Workshop.
