With it you are able to burn discs with files in MP3, WMA, lossless APE, FLAC and WAV formats with minimum effort on your part.

Astroburn Audio displays a user-friendly interface meant to simplify instead of over complicate things as other similar applications do. It’s comprised of a rather small window which holds all the functions and features you need in plain sight, making them easy to access.

While the disc is loaded into the drive, you can view how much free space you have and the total time used for the disc. You also get to view a list of all the songs you add which offers you just two types of detail, their name and length.

In case your system has multiple drives that can burn the audio disc, Astroburn Audio allows you to choose the one you want to use from a drop-down list, along with the appropriate write speed.

Before you begin to permanently inscribe the songs to a disc, the application offers you the possibility to listen to them using a built-in audio player. It’s nothing fancy as it only allows you to play or stop the song as well as use a seek bar to locate a specific portion of the track.

Astroburn Audio doesn’t excel in any particular aspects. It’s fairly modest in features but it does compensate with the fact that it offers a straightforward method of burning discs. Using it you have to go through a four step process in which you load the songs, choose the device along with the write speed and click the ‘Start Burn’ button.

To sum things up, Astroburn Audio isn’t going to leave your jaw on the floor but it will minimize the work you have to put into creating an audio CD.
