AutoPlay Express

AutoPlay Express is a feature-rich software application developed for creating and designing autoplay menus for CDs and DVDs.

The program is wrapped in a user-friendly interface, where you can start a new project from scratch or pick one of the samples supplied by the app.

You can use basic drawing tools that include pan, line edit, zoom, line, rectangle, ellipse, text, image and animated GIF.

AutoPlay Express provides several items that you can insert into the project, whether we are talking about buttons, menu items, links or others.

It is possible to edit the properties of any object (the program shows all inserted items in a drop-down menu), when it comes to the text (e.g. font, fill color, gradient or texture) and action to trigger on mouse-hover (e.g. play sound, go to page).

You can configure format settings (alignment, order, position, size, transform), insert new pages or duplicate existing ones, as well as customize project preferences concerning the window title and dimensions. Once your work is done, you can immediately build the new autoplay menu into a disc, or just save the files to the HDD.

AutoPlay Express requires a pretty low quantity of CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't burden the computer's overall performance. We have not experienced any issues throughout our evaluation, since the program did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout yet comprehensive configuration options, AutoPlay Express should please the entire audience.
