Create AutoRun-enabled CDs/DVDs and design professional menu windows
MenuBox creates AutoRun-enabled CDs and DVDs and design professional menu windows for your projects with MenuBox.
The software can be used to display lightweight custom menus or complex HTML contents in its own window, or in windowless mode to directly open a document (e.g. HTML, Flash, PDF, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) when your medium is inserted in the drive.
A failsafe option makes it possible to open a certain document only if an appropriate viewing application is available, otherwise installing the required software or reverting to a different action.
MenuBox is designed to be reliable, compatible and powerful and to allow you to be up and running in minutes, not hours.
The free version of MenuBox, which can be registered at any time, features unrestricted command line functionality. What's New in This Release: [ read full changelog ]
· New MenuBox Wizard features: support for web applications (wrap Web 2.0 apps, etc.), "Intuitive AutoRun" (stores MenuBox as autorun.exe at root of medium, hiding all other files), and various other refinements, including new dialogs for improved handling of relative paths. New [MenuBox] section may now be placed in "autorun.inf" itself to reference a different directory while minimizing files at the root of the medium. New OpenOnlyOnce and RememberPosition options in Text window mode and HTML window mode. Changed behavior of Execute() function to not return error if user cancels UAC confirmation request. Added Exit option to Execute() function of MenuBox Extended DOM. Terminology in MenuBox Wizard, documentation, examples and web site made more consistent. Project built with new compiler (Visual Studio 2008 with Legacy Extender) and new installer (WiX toolset).
