CloneDVD Mobile

CloneDVD Mobile is an application which you can use to convert DVDs to video formats supported by mobile devices, such as 3GP, AVI, WMV and MP4.

The tool has a user-friendly interface which consists of a simple-to-follow wizard.

You can get started by selecting the output profile, after which you can input the DVD via the file browser or the "drag and drop" method.

You can view DVD information (e.g. video format, audio streams, subtitles), preview the clip and trim chapters. In the next step, you can select the audio stream and subtitle (optionally disable it).

You can specify the output destination and name, set the resolution and video quality, deinterlace the video material and produce separate chapter files.

During the conversion process, you can enable CloneDVD Mobile to automatically shut down the computer when it finishes, view progress and remaining time, as well as view a summary and log file.

In the "Preferences" menu you can disable the automatic checkup for updates and program sounds (or you can specify your own audio tracks).

The program runs on moderate system resources, includes a tutorial with snapshots and didn't freeze or crash during our tests. The image and sound quality in the output videos is very good.

However, CloneDVD Mobile failed to convert a DVD to the AVI format during our tests, due to an encoding error. Otherwise, we strongly recommend this tool to all users.
