ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum is a software that enables you to convert DVDs to several video formats, including AVI, MOV, MP4 and WMV.
The program comes with a user-friendly interface in which you can import a DVD, ISO or IFO file by using either the file browser or the "drag and drop" method.
In the list you can check out the name, duration, number of chapters, output profile, size and status of each DVD. So, you can select the output format and destination, and initiate the conversion process.
On top of that, you can specify audio and video options regarding the quality, codec, bit rate, frame rate, zoom, aspect ratio, encode mode, sampling rate, VBR quality, volume, channels, and others.
Furthermore, you can preview the DVD, take a snapshot, trim a video by marking the starting and ending point, enable downsampling and select a deinterlace filter.
Additionally, you can clone a video, select individual chapters to convert, choose the audio stream and subtitle language, set post-task actions (e.g. turn off computer), enable ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum to run in the background, use a bit rate calculator, and more.
The video conversion tool uses high system resources, includes a comprehensive help file for rookies and quickly finishes an encoding job without popping up any errors. The image and sound in the output files is maintained at a very good quality.
