Max DVD to AVI Converter

Max DVD to AVI Converter is a software with a pretty suggestive title - it lets you easily encode your DVD files to videos in the AVI format.

The interface of the program is very plain and simple to navigate through. You can import a DVD from disc or folder by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.

In the list you can check out the title, length, information, audio and subtitle stream, as well as duration of the DVD.

After you specify the destination folder, you can proceed with the encoding process.

But you can also configure audio and video output settings when it comes to the codec, quality, frame rate, sample frequency rate, channels, volume, resolution and resize mode (e.g. keep aspect ratio).

You can select the audio and subtitle stream, trim the clip by marking the start and end time, as well as enable Max DVD to AVI Converter to turn off the computer or to open the output directory once all jobs are done.

During the conversion process, you can check out encoded, used and reserved time, processed frames and speed, as well as a progress bar. The DVD ripper takes up a moderate quantity of system resources and needs a reasonable amount of time to complete a task.

No errors have popped up during our tests and Max DVD to AVI Converter did not freeze or crash. Plus, it manages to maintain a very good image and sound quality. Unfortunately, there is no help file available. Otherwise, we strongly recommend this software to all user levels.
