Bulk Extractor

Bulk Extractor is a fast, portable and easy-to-use tool designed to help you extract contents from password-protected multi-part archives in just a couple of clicks. It offers support only for RAR format and does not come equipped with complicated features or configuration parameters, so it can be handled by anyone with ease.

As there is no installation involved, you can drop the program files in any part of the hard disk and just click the executable to launch the app. It is also possible to save Bulk Extractor to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.

An important aspect worth taking into account is that the Windows registry and Start menu do not get updated with new entries, and no extra files are created on the disk, thus leaving it clean after removal.

The GUI is user-friendly, based on a regular window with a plain and simple layout. Bulk Extractor does not put emphasis on looks, though. Archives can be added to the list using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop method is not supported.

It is only necessary to point out the first part of the archive, since Bulk Extractor will automatically identify the rest, provided that they are all in the same location.

All you have to do is specify the correct password and indicate the saving directory, in order to proceed with the extraction procedure. Apart from the fact that it is possible to remove all extracted archives from the list and retry all failed tasks, there are no other notable options available here.

The software utility extracts data rapidly while remaining light on system resources. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and the tool did not hang or crash. Although it is not feature-rich, Bulk Extractor offers a very simple solution to extracting multi-part RAR archives encrypted with passwords, and it can be used by anyone.
