Have a neat desktop object tell the time and computer resource consumption with options to adjust performance and aesthetics with ease. #Desktop clock #Desktop resource monitor #Configurable desktop clock #Clock #Gadget #Desktop
The desktop is the place you usually find folders and shortcuts to quickly access important items. However, it’s also the place you can store various informative objects, depending on what you need. For instance, Another Level is a small application which can sit on your workspace to show time and system resource usage.
One of the things you need to know before you benefit from what this program has to offer is that it’s completely dependent of Adobe Flash Player, so you might want to first install this prerequisite. Overall deployment doesn’t take a lot of time, and you can launch it right afterwards.
The style pretty much resembles gadgets and widgets you’re probably familiar with, but it doesn’t really work like that. Here’s a neat analog clock from which several other gauges are connected to display resource consumption. The gadget can easily be moved across the desktop to a suitable position, and even made to stay on top of everything else.
Bringing up the context menu is how to toggle the functions mentioned above, but also the place to access the configuration panel. Here, you can manage a couple of things, such as performance and appearance.
Although both categories speak for themselves, here is what you find. The first tab lets you toggle between the monitor components to leave active, as well as the refresh interval for CPU, RAM, and HDD. You can enable audio warnings based on resource consumption if you want to keep everything under control.
The second tab is where you can tweak visuals. There’s a slider which determines the size of the desktop object, as well as a variety of color schemes. You can also create and save your own by choosing colors for several object elements.
Taking everything into account, we can state that Another Level is a simple application you might want to keep around to be informed about the time and computer performance. You can make it suit your style, and even adjust components and their behavior.
