A proper time management is sure to boost the efficiency in any domain of activity, be it leisure or business-related. What’s more, this activity of tracking time doesn’t necessarily have to involve complex tasks or tools, and My Timer is one suitable application in this regard, letting you create multiple timers.
First of all, you can check out the application’s set of features from the moment download is done, because there’s no setup involved to take any of your time. This also means that the application becomes your personal time tracker, because you can store it on a thumb drive and use on other computers without registry entries being affected or modified.
There’s no timer configured by default, and the configuration window shows up on launch. Here, you get the chance to create one or more timers, each with its own rules. These are displayed in a list, and feedback is delivered in real-time when the counter is started. In the meantime, you can minimize the application to the tray area, or even have a selection of counters brought up on the desktop.
In order to add a new timer you need to fill in some details. These include a title, period to count down from, which consists of days, hours, minutes, and seconds, action to take when the timer ends, which is either to show a message, play an audio file, shutdown or restart your computer, and even run a custom program.
A timer needs to be selected to be started, with the possibility to stop, and even pause. These don’t get removed from the list when time runs out. The desktop gadget is pretty neat, with buttons for time controls. You don’t necessarily have to leave them on the desktop, but if you do, there’s the possibility to adjust opacity.
Taking everything into consideration, we can state that My Timer is a powerful countdown timer which lets you create more custom timers. Various actions can be configured for when the time runs out, and you don’t even have to go through a setup process to make the application works.
