iTunes Alarm Clock

As its name states, iTunes Alarm Clock is a simple utility designed to help you set up alarms on your computer and acts as a desktop reminder. This alarm clock tool allows you to choose any song from your iTunes music library and play it at a user-defined time.

If you don't have iTunes installed on your computer, you are notified when running iTunes Alarm Clock for the first time.

Nevertheless, the program works well without iTunes too, as you can select songs from your PC to use as alarm sounds.

On the other side, if iTunes can be found on your computer, it starts together with iTunes Alarm Clock every time you run it.

Adding an alarm is easy, as you just have to set the time and song. As mentioned before, you can choose music files from your computer or iTunes library. In addition to this, you can optionally select the recurring option for the alarm.

The alarm can be customized by adding a message that can be displayed at the defined time. You can change the background colors and the text in the message in order to make it more personal.

Once you finished editing your alarm, a box appears in the main window of the application, allowing you to permanently view the remaining time. This software application offers you the possibility to edit or delete the existing alarms anytime you want.

Once the time interval is finished, the song you selected starts playing and the message text appears in full-screen. The activated alarm is automatically removed from the applications' main window.

One of the drawbacks of iTunes Alarm Clock is that it cannot be set to run in the system tray, as you have to keep it open and minimize it to the taskbar if you want the countdown to continue. Nevertheless, it is an easy-to-use and lightweight application that you can use to easily set reminders or alarms.
