Pixelshop is a graphical utility designed to help you create icons for folders, applications and the web. Pixelshop can also create Animated Cursors and Cursors.

Support for All Icons
Pixelshop supports all icon formats, including Alpha-channel icons used in Windows XP. All resolutions, from 16x16 to 48x48 can be edited. Multiple icon sizes and colour-depths can be combined into the same icon file for maximum compatibility.

Smart Palettes
When working with legacy 256 colour icons, Pixelshop automatically uses a dynamic colour palette that allows you to have 256 different colours of your choice , not 256 predefined colours. This gives you virtually the creative ability of true-colour icons and results in far higher quality. Shown above is a sample gradient saved in Pixelshop and another icon editor.

Smart Image Converting
Normally, a picture cannot be converted into an icon as the icon's small size renders all details invisible. However, Pixelshop's powerful image conversion tool allows you to convert small pictures into high-quality icons quickly using proprietary technology that uses a combination of techniques to convert a regular picture into a series of icons with remarkable detail and precision.

Support for Cursors
You can use the same powerful tools you use with icons to create both static and animated cursors. When designing animated cursors, Pixelshop shows a filmstrip editing view and animated preview to have match up frames, and supports embedding author information.
